Taking a private yoga lesson from my friend at Long Life Fitness, http://www.lesliesnow.com/ . The morning is warm enough to have the window open, rain from last night is dripping randomly from tree branches, cool moist morning air fills the room. Smell the wetness, last year’s musky decaying leaves, under that, pungent living mud waking up and coming back to life. Spring is most definitely in the air. We are working through physically and mentally demanding poses, stretching, twisting, breathing, feeling refreshed, awake, and alive. The room suddenly fills with bird song, as if every avian entity in the area decided to joyfully call out as one voice gregariously announcing spring’s arrival. Glorious!
